This product also includes natural ingredients to restore a healthy electrolyte balance to the pond and to buffer against potentially dangerous pH swings. Since this product is intended to loosen and break up debris and unsightly build-up from rocks, stones and edges, it is best paired with The Pond Digger Beneficial Pond Bacteria. Once the unwanted debris has been dislodged from its place, the bacteria will consume it and remove it from the pond. Make sure either to have a mechanical skimmer or to carefully remove debris with a fine net in order to protect the pond pump as well! For treatment of water features such as streams, waterfalls and fountains, shut off the pump during application. Once applied, turn the pump immediately back on. Treatment may be repeated every 48 hours as needed.
